It was a run down community reservoir now a really amazing inner London nature reserve with a top notch cafe, a lovely Sunday morning walk. You can get there via the parkland walk from Clissold Park.

Parkland Walk is great - if you run or walk and want to get some good mileage in, this takes you all the way from Stoke Newington via the capital ring (a trail around London) to either the Olympic Park or Hampstead heath and onwards. Google the route but its pretty well signposted.
