Just across the meadow from the apartment, the brewery is a great place to hang out around the gas bonfires while sampling a flight of the local brews and eating food from a local food truck. Afternoon sun in the outside area in the summer can be awesome! Cut across the meadow if you like - you will need Xtra Tuffs in the summer (bit of a swamp!).

Parks & Nature
At the end of Timberline Drive (5-min drive/15-min walk) is a 5-min walk to a wonderful waterfall gushing through a narrow gorge deep in the Girdwood rain forest. For the more adventurous, the narrow trail continues steeply up the ridge to climb Max's Mountain for a spectacular view of the valley.
