This is the village pub, very popular with locals but people do come from further afield as it has a good atmosphere and serves good food. Just a five minute stroll from the house.

This pub/ restaurant is set in a beautiful location on the River Teignmouth. It was reburbished a couple of years ago and the decor is modern and stylish. There is a good range of food available all day. But what makes this place special is the glorious view. It is about ten minutes drive from the house.

The Coombe Cellars
This pub/ restaurant is set in a beautiful location on the River Teignmouth. It was reburbished a couple of years ago and the decor is modern and stylish. There is a good range of food available all day. But what makes this place special is the glorious view. It is about ten minutes drive from the house.
There are a range of restaurants along this stretch of the seafront in Torquay. Las Iguanas, Pierre Le Bistrot, Visto Lounge, Costa Coffee, Fish and Chips. All with a lovely view of the sea.

There are a few different beautiful riverside walks around Parke, ( leaflet in the house) . It is also the venue for Parkrun if you are interested in the Saturday morning 5k. There is a lovely cafe there too.

Beautiful gardens and a nice cafe. Definitely worth a visit.

Totnes is a small market town with a range of small interesting little shops as well as the larger supermarket, Morrissons. Lots of cafes and restaurants too. You might like to combine a trip to Totnes with Dartington.
