Food Scene
In summer Cothen is known for its fresh cherries and you can pick them in several places yourself. Its only a 20 minutes bike ride from the camping and very nice to relax in a cherry tree garden, eating your cherries, or cherry ice-cream and buy some home made jams over there. Explore and enjoy!

A very nice little town and really old fashioned Dutch. Enjoy the lovely little restaurants over there and sit on their veranda / porch to enjoy your last evening coffee or tea. Also very nice to bicycle to.

Entertainment & Activities
Austerlitz is the place where the army of Napoleon was waiting for its defeat at Waterloo. They built a pyramid while waiting which is very worthwhile to visit! Before arriving at the pyramid, there is a nice pancake house and caroussels and swings for kids to enjoy. A very nice place to go to as family or in two. History combined with entertainment!
