Everything is vegetarian or vegan BUT meat-eating folks love this place as well. I have yet to find a better vegetarian spot in the city for an affordable quick bite. Great sandwiches, great dessert--all homemade.

Our good friends opened this place up a little over a year ago and they really did a lot of research on Russian cuisine. They brew all of their own beer and all food is handmade. Try the perogies!

If you are going to ride your bike or go for a leisurily stroll in Philly, this is where you need to do it--stunning views of the river and the Philly Art Museum. You can't beat it.

Kayaks, paddleboats, ice skating in the winter, roller skating in the summer, hammocks (these are a mystery to me...how do they stay clean?), boardwalk with games, floating barge with restaurant and beer, beautiful lights at night. Again, another must-do :)
