Food Scene

This is a great local café where you can enjoy good coffee and lovely food whilst gazing out the big windows onto the hustle and bustle of Parnell. The deep fried calamari, although not a breakfast item, is still one of my favourite dishes. (Breakfast/Brunch/Lunch dishes $15-$25)

Despite this café being home to the infamous incident where NZ Prime Minister (John Key) pulled one of the waitress’s ponytail. It serves very good food. The portion sizes are smaller than other cafes. My favourite items on the menu are the smoked fish omellette and the green eggs benedict. (Breakfast/ Brunch / Lunch dishes $20-$35).

Drinks & Nightlife

Patrons to this establishment are well heeled. We recommend to sit in the outdoor seating area to bask in the afternoon sun. On Sunday afternoons this place becomes a gathering for the who's who of Parnell. (Standard Gin and Tonic $18)
