You are just one big block away from beautiful Shelly Beach. It’s particularly popular for its surf break and the long stretch of off-leash dog beach from North Shelly up.
60 seconds in the car, 3 minutes on the bicycle, 7-8 minutes on foot. Or you might like to drive an extra minute north along Grandview, right at the roundabout and then first right into the Swaldling St carpark. This will get you right up the north end near the flat rocks a nice spot for kids and doggos.

Shelly Beach

Borrow the fishing rods from the shed and head to Tuggerah Lake at the Entrance to cast a line. Pick a spot from the shore near the bridge or the inlet to the lake at North Entrance. Or you might prefer to hire a run-a-bout from The Entrance Boathouse, Under the Bridge, The Entrance Rd, The Entrance http://www.theentranceboatshed.com.au . They’ll also sort you out for bait!
