The first ever King Sooper's grocery store was located in Olde Town Arvada, across from where the library is today. It's not there any more, but this one, a mile west, is the closest place to Olde Town (and our house) to buy groceries.

This place has open mic bluegrass and live music several evenings a week. They also have great drinks and friendly bartenders, and it's easily within stumbling distance if you're looking for a late evening.
