Meteora Natural History Museum and Mushroom Museum
The Museum is located on the National Highway connecting Trikala with Egnatia Highway, close to the big city hotels and five minutes from the city center on foot. Space for parking is available.
The Museum organizes guided tours for groups, school classes of elementary, middle and high school students and other special groups. Visitors will have the opportunity to become fully informed about the exhibits, the dangers that threaten the individual ecosystems and the environment in general.
In the Museum, there is available a free guided tour system with QR codes in English.

Kalampaka has a long tradition in the production of hand-made, wood-carved objects, but also in the making of religious icons that are painted by domestic artists. Some of the workshops are located outside the town’s center. Also, take a look at the local variety of embroideries, the leather-sandals shops and the local souvenir shops.
