Bar. Love the food here. My favorite spot in all of Alaska for best food.....THE insane WINGS are To Die For (i like buckets medium), the prime steak bites so good with the blueberry hot dipping sauce, great beer, the bread on the hamburgers are worth every carb.......Breakfast, lunch, dinner, take out......Just a great relaxed atmosphere. The staff are my favorite in town, too.

My favorite spot in all of Alaska for best food.....THE insane WINGS are To Die For (i like buckets medium), the prime steak bites so good with the blueberry hot dipping sauce, great beer, the bread on the hamburgers are worth every carb.......Breakfast, lunch, dinner, take out......Just a great relaxed atmosphere. The staff are my favorite in town, too.

Sooooo beautiful. Just the drive alone is worth the trip. Halibut fishing. Restaurants. Super cute little quaint town. Fish and Chips. Deep fried halibut. We always stop at the famous Salty Dawg Saloon, to buy the very popular sweatshirts or t-shirts or hats.

HOWEVER>>>>>>Every Alaskan has a few of these sweatshirts. If you are seen wearing one, you are cool with the locals.....actually the entire state. IT IS A MUST DO .....TO GO TO THE SALTY DAWG SALOON AND BUY A SWEATSHIRT. You gotta do it! The store is around the back of the bar outside.

The Soldotna's Fred Meyers has to be one of their best retail stores in the nation.....
This store is 5 minutes away and includes many departments with everything a shopper might need, eliminating the need for multiple trips to several locations......We love Fred Meyers. Thank the Lord for Fred Meyers.....
