Eating on the Croisette is overpriced, one street back is very reasonable. Rue D'Antibe, Commandant André, Le Souquet, and Rue Hoche are great value. People actually live in Cannes. Drink Apperol Spritz and enjoy your time in Cannes. Go to the beach. A chair is worth it. Expect to pay 20 to 30 euros with a towel and drink service. The best free beaches are near California. Avoid the marina restaurants.
