This is spacious pub with good food and a bit of a family vibe. It's quite often hired out for weddings at the weekends but they do a brilliant Sunday roast.

This is quite a new addition to the area and they do the most delicious sandwiches and good coffee. They also have a tiny courtyard and toys for the kids!

This cafe have been a bit slow in serving but the coffee is good and the setting is very pretty, particularly on a sunny day when you can sit outside and do some people watching.

Have a traditional English cream tea with sandwiches, scones, cakes (£15) and for an extra £2 a glass of Prosecco. I love it in here particularly as the staff are always so sweet and helpful.

This is a new leisure centre with excellent facilities - swimming, toddler pool, classes, creche, badminton etc etc Definitely worth a visit on a rainy day if you've got some energy to burn off.

A beautiful space with lots to look at - deer, butterflies, chickens, rabbits and goats. A big playground, a skate park. Ponds, tennis courts and lots of green space to soak up some summer sun
