Food scene Leixlip and surrounding areas
leixlip village is the closest village to the house. It has lots of pubs and coffee shops and an Aldi for groceries.
celbridge Village is further but you could walk to it through castletown park.
Maynooth village is one stop on the train and has some really nice restaurants

Grand 18th-century manor with posh rooms, a spa and upscale dining plus golf on 1,100-acre grounds. It is 13 minute drive from the house and would not recommend public transport (c3 bus) because there is a long avenue and grounds to walk through to access the hotel.

Phoenix park is a large park close to Dublin City. This is where Ireland’s president lives and you can view the presidents house from afar while looking at the many deer that live there. Dublin Zoo is also enclosed within the park and the Phoenix park visitor center does a really nice lunch! You can rent bikes in the Phoenix park and there is a papal cross you can visit which was erected for the visit of Pope John Paul II in 1979
