These are some of the places we have tried and really like when we are dining out, which is on occasion when we don't feel like cooking!
A really nice little restaurant in Genoa Bay that is right on the water at the Marina. Really nice outdoor patio to sit out on a summer evening and watch the boats. The food there is excellent.

Very good pub food in Maple Bay Marina. Great atmosphere sitting in what once used to be a working shipyard building. Lots of photos of boats and memorabilia from days gone by. Nice patio surrounded by glass so you don't get too much wind off the water. And the great part is, it is only a few minutes walk from our vacation rental.

If you are visiting Chemainus for the day and then want to have an excellent Thai dinner there. This is your place. Freshly made ingredients, beautifully presented Thai cuisine. Great prices too. They only do take out now so you could take your dinner to the beach in Chemainus and enjoy

Excellent Poke bowls. Large portion bowl that is super healthy and will fill you up. Other dinners here as well that we have tried and they are excellent!

Great burgers that are very flavourful and huge. They also make a fabulous macaroni salad. Burgers and food are fresh and always hot.

Saturday Market in downtown Duncan
Plan to go to the Saturday market 9-2 pm. All year round. They also have added a Thursday evening market now. 4-9pm. Lots of food vendors/trucks there. Different ones there all the time. Lots of Baked goods, artisans and wineries and distilleries. You will not be disappointed!
