Vegan bakery and coffee shop Wildflour is just up the road on East Ave, walking or driving towards Providence.
For (I think) better coffee and lovely baked goods, keep going on East Avenue until it turns into Hope Street for Seven Stars Bakery.
A great (Zagat’s rated) breakfast greasy spoon, Modern Diner is just a 3-5 minute walk on East Avenue away from Providence. Please note they only take cash!
For a full meal, you might try Rasoi in the same complex as Wildflour or the Ivy Tavern further on Hope Street where there are more nice shops and restaurants. Chez Pascal does a beautiful French dinner and even better hotdog/sausage lunch through their takeout window!
If you’re visiting on Saturday morning or Wednesday evening, check out the Farmer’s Market in Lippett Park, just off Hope Street. Try the homemade ice cream at Three Sisters just across the street!
