Oakland, CA born, Blue Bottle is now a national change but the coffee is still exceptional. Our go-to is enjoying a New Orleans Iced coffee on the sunny benches outside.

Fentons Creamery and Restaurant is an Oakland landmark, serving the Bay Area community amazing ice cream for over 105 years. It's known as the original birthplace of the Rocky Road and made a recent appearance in PIxar's "Up".
Our personal favorite is the Mocha Almond Fudge. If you're sitting down, try the Black & Tan Sundae. And if you're really brave, check out the Fenton's Challenge!

Beautiful bay shoreline with a lot of accessible parks to have a picnic or fly a kite. You'll find a lot of sailing, windsurfing, and kitesurfing. Lessons are available in the area and make for a great weekend.
