Mt Clay is a state forest overlooking Narrawong, great to go for a walk, bicycle ride or simply enjoy the views of the Portland Bay.
Recently installed is a sculpture at the Whalers Lookout, great spot for a selfie.

A potential World Heritage listed Cultural landscape, it is no more than 20 min from our place, you will need to go on a tour, but if you are interested to know a bit more about Aboriginal and Indigenous culture, this is a great thing to do.
If nominated for World Heritage listing, the Budj Bim Cultural Landscape would be the first Australian World Heritage site to be nominated exclusively for Aboriginal cultural values.

Bella and myself love our walks. if you are here around January, there is a National M2M run/walk from the mouth of the Fitzroy River to the Surrey River, if you have not got to much time, you can always do the 3km or 6-7km walk or run.

A local's favorite, a great bay to go for a walk, take the dog, watch the seals or even have a swim.
It has its own coffee shop and it is close to the Petrified Forest, Wind Farms and the largest Seal colony of the southern hemisphere.

Great place to discover our limestone coast. amazing blowholes and if lucky you get to see Blue Whales or Southern Right whales within the area, if it is the right season.

Alicia Tivey is a well known Indonesian Chef, who has decided to make Narrawong her retirement place. We are lucky to have her as a neighbour, as she runs a Monthly Pop up Restaurant and cooking classes by appointment.
Her aim is to promote healthy produce, cooking, eating, and sustainable living. At her Indonesian and Australian homes, she has a small but rewarding fruit, vegetable and bee operation.
