A must visit for all just a few minutes down the road from 7th Heaven. Beautiful established trails through a park in the shore of the lake with bridges where you can view the salmon spawning in the fall. The visitor center is very nice also.

10 minutes down the road. The longest free ferry in North America. A wonderful way to get out onto the water and experience the breadth of the lake. There are a lot of artists businesses to explore at the other side!

Relaxation
Our family’s favorite place to end a day of hiking and adventure, or on a rainy/snowy day. Unique in that you can swim back into the caves where the water’s source is. 20 minutes down the road. The restaurant upstairs is really yummy and has a breathtaking view of Kootenay Lake.
