This lovely pub is owned and run by Merlene and Nigel, the chef. You will receive a friendly welcome, a roaring fire on a cold day, a rustic bar with leather sofas and a sophisticated restaurant. The food, which is also available in the bar, includes tapas, pizzas and main courses, many with an Italian/Spanish twist. Excellent range of local beers and a good selection of wines. Takeaway pizza is also available.
Open: Lunch 12.30-2.30, closed Sunday and Monday lunch times. Evening: 6.30-9. Sunday evening pizzas only, closed Monday evening. Booking advised.

There is a small selection of up-to-date leaflets in the tray on the bookshelf in the living room. We have an excellent Information Centre in the town. Opening hours are: Thursday to Saturday 10 am to 4pm. Sunday 10am to 3pm. During high season the Information Centre is open full-time. There is also a Visitor Centre at Princetown and Postbridge.
