Must visit waterfront trail just north of City Beach. Off leash dog trail.
Great multimodal trail along the waterfront connecting Sandpoint to Ponderay. Floating up Sand Creek via canoe or paddle board is also a great experience. You may even get some ice skating here in the winter. It is just a few blocks east across Bridge St. before you get to City Beach.

Sandpoint's premier entertainment venue. I started the Hive with a few friends in 2013. It has passed through a couple owners since. This bar/club/concert venue is fit for Seattle or Denver. Great place to catch a traveling band.

The best ski resort in the Inland northwest is just a 20 minute drive away. In addition to all the winter sports, summers offer mountain biking, hiking and huckleberry picking. Many great events happen here year round. Wonderful trail system within and surrounding the resort, Including the Watershed Crest Trail, which is an epic 20 mile hiking/biking trail that circumnavigates the Little Sand Creek Watershed. Still under construction, it offers 360 degree views of the Lake, Schweitzer, Sandpoint and most of North Idaho.

This is the best yoga studio in the world, in my experience. Just a couple blocks down Pine St. on 1st Ave. Nice, personalized studio with fantastic natural light. World class teachers provide all the nice touches that make this studio stand above the rest.
The 8:30 morning vinyasa class is offered daily and will keep you in shape. Studio typically maintains 85 degrees, though some classes vary.
I teach a free breathe-work and meditation class on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 7-8am. All are welcome :)
