Great vibe on the lake 15 minutes south in Peachland...outside patio is great for summer dining; inside is a German Pub feel with a huge fireplace for winter warmth. Great food at a good price. Peachland feels like a little resort town. Not to be missed.

Great coffee and goodies, located in Peachland...just 15 minutes south. Outdoor patio is great for its lake views and afterwards you can walk off all those goodies on the walkway along the lake.

Wonderful scenery, elevation hike up the mountain with a waterfall at the upper end. Great 'circle hike' up the mountain and back down again. I'd recommend a minimum level of fitness because of the elevation gain.

A beautiful walk along Okanagan Lake. There are a couple secluded beaches along this trail. Peaceful and beautiful.

The Cultural district in Kelowna is the place to go for visual art, dance, Symphony, Opera, Classical concerts, theatre...plus Kelowna hosts a number of outdoor music festivals and concerts in the summer, and there are always free events happening downtown. If you're the musical type, there are several outdoor pianos to be tried downtown. Check the local website castanet.net for all posted community events....

Float down the channel between Okanagan Lake and Skaha Lake. There's a number of good beaches, fruit stands and interesting landscapes along the drive down hwy 97 to Penticton. You'll need your own 'floaties'. There is a shuttle bus that will pick you up and return you to the starting point.
