The walk around the base takes about 45 minutes with inspiring scenes of waves crashing on the rocks, ships entering the harbour and boats of all kinds. The walk up the Mount is slightly more strenuous. Fast people take about 15 minutes up the steeper route. There is a more gradual route taking longer. The view at the top is breath taking. Check out the hang gliders who take off from the summit and stay aloft on updrafts near the Mount.
