This is a lovely gallery which won Museum of the year in 2017. It is dedicated to William Morris, Arts and Crafts pioneer who once lived in the house. There is a permanent free exhibition. The cafe has great cakes overlooking the lovely gardens.

Lovely 12th century church and fascinating graveyard in Walthamstow Village. Opposite is the old Tudor house and if you turn right out of the graveyard you will pass pretty cottages and the Vestry House Museum. Walk down St Mary’s Path to get to Walthamstow Central station or wander around the village to Orford Road interesting shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants.
