Coffee shop just down the hill. Good coffee. I prefer Fix up the street, but Chango has its own devotees. It's next door to Cookbook, a small local gourmet (and expensive) grocery store, across from a gas station, and on the way down to Sunset, so it's a convenient stop.

Elysian Park is across the street from the Airstream. If you walk up the hill and then turn right and go down the dirt path you will find yourself on a perfect path for a 2 mile hike or run. Ask us for more specific directions. This is a great loop, and has views of the San Gabriel Mountains and downtown Los Angeles!
