There are wonderful places to visit in Sussex County -- Southern Delaware. You will fall in love with the beauty and nature of the area.
Cape Henlopen has beautiful beaches. It's great for hiking, biking, and sightseeing. There's a lot of interesting history at the park, too. There is a fee to enter the park, but not all year. Check the website. https://destateparks.com/Beaches/CapeHenlopen

This is the loveliest of lovely places in Milton. I describe it as a magic garden. As the name indicates, there are fields and fields of different lavender plants. But not only lavender, the gardens are fabulous. The store sells homemade soaps and fantastic scones. Love tea? They have it. There are other cute items for your garden and home. This is one of my favorite places in Milton and I always recommend it.

In the summers, there are many events! Concerts in the park on Wednesday nights, Horseshoe Crab Festival, Bargains on the Broadkill in August, there's a playground, boating, you can rent kayaks. It's a wonderful park!
