Right under the Brooklyn Bridge. The owner of the original Grimaldi's (now a well known local chain) cooking with the same oven from the first restaurant. There can be lines, but getting there just before opening after a nice walk across the Brooklyn Bridge or around Brooklyn Bridge Park (https://maps.app.goo.gl/gUzdd) should leave you and your group with a good appetite.

There can be long waits, but the pizza is great. The chef is a longtime "neighborhood guy". He infamously got in a knife fight a few blocks away a few years ago. The name came from his favorite candy store in the neighborhood growing up.
