Bengate Barn Cottages Guidebook
Bengate & Worstead
Bengate is a small rural hamlet covered by the parish of Worstead. We have not been able to find a lot of history regarding Bengate itself, apart from that Bengate apparently means ‘the street through a bean field’.
The village of Worstead is just under a mile away, with The White Lady pub offering food and drink, along with the 14th century Church of St Mary the Virgin.
