Get a harrowing tour of what was the epicentre of the East African Slave trade. A very well done exhibition by the Zanzibari government. Highly recommend. Bring tissue.

Essentials
The place to go for Health care. Check out my review on Google Maps for more info. Dr. Jenny does concierge medicine and will come to you wherever you are. Dr. Jenny's number is in the apartment. Call her if you have any medical concerns or needs. She's REALLY good. Avoid Global Hospital if possible. While it's the biggest place in Zanzibar, its service is horrendous.
