We love the serene call of this beautiful history right in our back yard. Thomas Jefferson’s retreat home, Poplar Forest, is neat place to tour and a lovely place to walk with Mountain View’s and plenty of deer. Also offers a peaceful golf course if you’d like play golf!

The lodge hosts a restaurant with window views and sits at the base of the majestic mountain with a paved mile long walking path around a serene lake. Perfect photo site!!
