Instead of taking the cable car it is a very nice walk up from Prätschli. You may park your car there and take the Arlenwaldweg. The walk will take approx. 30-45min. You may also take the Erlebnisweg from Arosa town, which is about a 40-55min walk.

Great for late night food or breakfast. I totally love the style, it was an old storage hall from the train station back in the days.

Hiking
A very nice hike from the Stausee in Arosa via Furgalp to Grünsee. It’s roughly 250m uphill through the woods and via an alp where you might encounter cows. It’s a round trip and takes about 2-3h depending on how fast you get up to the Grünsee. A hike a bit away from touristy trails.
