Juneau Food & Drinks

Juneau is becoming a real foodie town with plenty of dining options downtown. The local hotspot is the Hangar on the Wharf, specializing in seafood, sandwiches, salads and a full bar. McGiveny's sports bar is another active dining scene with solid sports bar dining options. For sushi, try Seong's next to the Federal Building or Little Tokyo on Seward Street. The Lemon Tree Cafe is the local favorite for pho, steamed buns, and a variety of soups, curries and side dishes.

These are a few of our favorite watering holes in town. For exotic cocktails and specialty liquors, visit The Narrows Bar on South Franklin. For a taste of locally-distilled gin, head to the Amalga Distillery (two drink limit - tasting room). If beer is your beverage of choice try the Hangar on the Wharf for a large selection of tap beers or the Devil's Club Brewery or Barnaby's for a local microbrew.
