Hire a bicycle

Bike hire is available at the bike shed and good for exploring but be prepared to walk. Some of our most spectacular spots are accessed by walking tracks. Gumnut Eco Cottage is located on a "train" station. Electric buggies regularly run on weekends and during holidays between the marina and surf club. For $15 staff will deliver your luggage to the cottage but it's easy enough to walk if you arrive prepared.
Mhux ta' min jitlifha

kids club

During school holidays and weekends. Parents can dine next door while children watch a movie, have party or craft. Supervised by staff. Ask at reception for details.

Groceries for your stay

We use Coles Clickncollect and usually pick up at Surfers or Southport (there is also a Dan Murphy's nearby) prior to arrival at the Main beach Marina. The cottage and island store is well stocked with basics so if you're self catering you will need to preorder. https://shop.coles.com.au

Togs, big hats, flip flops

and a toothbrush. Something to wear for dinner could be handy if you're not self catering. Leave the stilettos at home and find your boatie style. Or stay in the cottage in your jarmies.

A collapsible beach wagon

Is super handy. Really. These were made for island life. $35 from Kmart; worth it.
