Harbour, full of mainly independent shops to browse. Pubs and restaurants in abundance including Rick Stein's and Paul Ainsworth for food junkies! (Tip: best to drive to Rock - 15minutes from us and get the ferry across the Camel Estuary. Alternatively hire bikes at Wadebridge and cycle to Padstow)

Probably the best National Trust house I've ever visited! superb grounds (you can cycle round the estate) Guided tours of gardens. interesting house, lovely drawing room where you can sit and go through old albums and read family letters. I love this place!

Locals prop up the bar and are friendly - the landlord Barry usually gives out Bonios to dogs before serving you! Honest pub food, not overpriced.
