Everybody knows The Gristmill restaurant. I think it’s great atmosphere with average food. We like the the Gruene River grill good food and atmosphere.

Great outdoors
Local swimming hole doesn’t quite cover it. Blue Hole is a park with trails and cool spring water. It’s beyond lovely. You need reservations and towels!! We do not provide towels to take off the property.
