Local beaches

Pembrokeshire has numerous beaches! Here are some of my favourites that you may wish to visit.
This stunning cove with its spectacular rock formation is just a short walk from the house. There are a lot of steep steps to reach the rocky beach, or you can simply admire the view from the top.

Breathtakingly beautiful and just up the road! You can admire this gorgeous beach from a couple of viewpoints, although the beach itself is not so easy to access.

This is the local beach in the village and easy to reach, its not far to walk from the house or you can drive, it has a car park and toilets. It's a popular spot for surfing and nice to watch the sun going down. It's very tidal so not much beach at high tide, but when its low there's a lovely sandy beach with rock pools to explore.

Lydstep caverns are a short, scenic walk along the Coastal Path - best visited at low tide to see the caverns!

With sand dunes on one side and the sea on the other, this is a nice stretch of beach to walk along, especially when the sun is going down. It’s around a 15 minute drive from the house, there’s a car park, toilets and no steps to negotiate to reach the beach, so a nice easy option.

Depending on which way you are going, the small village of Amroth is at the end, or the beginning, of the coastal path. It has a paved walkway with benches, so you can sit with an ice cream and look out to sea, or take a walk along the half mile of beach and explore some of the rock pools.

Walking and scenery

The Coastal Path is a walkers paradise and it’s less than half a mile away, so you don’t have to venture far to enjoy the rugged coastline, ancient rock formations, dramatic cliffs, incredible sea views and deserted beaches. Whether you want to take a gentle stroll to the nearby viewpoint, or don your hiking boots to discover some of the 186 miles of spectacular coastline, please do let me know and I’d be delighted to advise you on some local walks.
