Skøyen has several areas with restaurants. Grocery shopping can be done in one of the many grocery stores in the area such as Rema 1000, Kiwi or Coop Mega at Hoff. Pharmacies, various wellness salons - a wide selection in all genres. There are quite a few hairdressers. At the new Harbitz Torg you will find, among other things, Coop Mega, pharmacy, Harbitz Torg Bad, as well as Lokal which is a café, bar and delicatessen with short-traveled, organic goods. At the heart of the area is the listed ’Laboratoriet’, which has been resurrected 100 years after it was built as the entire area's new cultural center and meeting place. On the first floor you will find a café and restaurant, with take away. On the building's second floor, there is a department for sports and games, with shuffleboard, bar counter and TV screens. On the third floor you will find function rooms that can be booked for various events
