Hiking / Historic / Scenic
Historic Wallace is a beautiful scenic town 75 minutes east of our lodge. It was the Silver Mining Financial Center for the Silver Valley. I love hiking and photographing the Pulaski Tunnel Trail which is a 4-mile historic trail. Besides the beauty, it is historically significant because of the 1910 fire that devastated the Pacific Northwest.

Wallace
Historic Wallace is a beautiful scenic town 75 minutes east of our lodge. It was the Silver Mining Financial Center for the Silver Valley. This is an amazing park for children. Parents enjoy it because it is open and yet has fencing to contain their children. It is a couple of minute to the Coeur d' Alene beach and the downtown area where shopping abounds. There is a newly constructed Merry-Go-Round.

Fort Sherman Playground
This is an amazing park for children. Parents enjoy it because it is open and yet has fencing to contain their children. It is a couple of minute to the Coeur d' Alene beach and the downtown area where shopping abounds. There is a newly constructed Merry-Go-Round.

Q'emiln Park is close to the Post Falls Dam. Great hiking areas and play ground. Plenty of park benches and picnic tables.

Lookout Pass has good prices and wonderful skiing for individuals, groups and families. It straddles the Idaho / Montana border and takes approximately 90 minutes from our lodge. My kids grew up there and loved it. Our family has been involved in teaching children how to ski. Highly recommended.

Silver Mountain Resort has a wonderful selection of slopes on which to ski. You will ride the amazing Gondola ride to the top. During summer there are mountain bike trails. There is also an indoor water park connected to the Silver Mountain Gondola House.

Silver Mountain Resort has a wonderful selection of slopes on which to ski. You will ride the amazing Gondola ride to the top. During summer there are mountain bike trails. There is also an indoor water park connected to the Silver Mountain Gondola House.
