Sunset Barrie drive-in movie theater (25 min drive) in Oro-Medonte plays a double feature movie drive-in style. They start around 9PM (or sunset) and cost around $12 per person. What says summer more than a double feature with snacks & blankets at the drive-in!

Sunset Speedway (10 min drive) is a Stock Car Racing Track which is open on Saturday nights in the summer. Gates open at 5:00 PM and cost is around $20 per person. If you've never been, it's definitely highly recommended. The roar of the engines, the smell of burning rubber, & the excitement of the race! Be warned, it gets loud (ear plugs recommended).

6918 Yonge StSunset Speedway (10 min drive) is a Stock Car Racing Track which is open on Saturday nights in the summer. Gates open at 5:00 PM and cost is around $20 per person. If you've never been, it's definitely highly recommended. The roar of the engines, the smell of burning rubber, & the excitement of the race! Be warned, it gets loud (ear plugs recommended).
Downtown Barrie (20 min drive) has lots of Shops and Bars with live music on Saturdays. Great for a bite to eat, drinks, and just walking around. It’s a great night out on Saturday.

Georgian Downs (10 min drive) which has slots and Harness Horse Racing . Entry is free and post time starts around 7:15 PM. Nice if your into horse racing or slots.
