On the way to Velika Planina you pass a midieval Town Kamnik. It's got a small castle on the hill. The town centre square is very pretty with some local bars and Cafes. Worth taking a stroll, stopping for a drink.

In the mountains, you never how the weather will change. Even a hot summer day can turn into a storm or a strong wind starts to blow. To avoid feeling cold, always have an extra layer which you can put on yourself, such as a hoodie, jumper, windproof jacket etc.
