Sightseeing
To me, nothing is more curiously awe inspiring than the Giants Causeway. If walking or trekking around there, it’s usually a bit windy, so make appropriate decisions about jackets, hats, shoes...depending on what you’re planning to get up to there. Here’s a handy link: https://discovernorthernireland.com/Giant-s-Causeway-National-Trust-Bushmills-P2800/
There also is a convenient, warming, and reasonably priced restaurant just beside the Giants Causeway, called ‘The Causeway Hotel & Restaurant’. They don’t mind if all you want is a cup of coffee, lovely tea, or a drink from the bar.
Another of my favourite spots for refreshment and great variety of foods is the ‘Smuggler’s Inn’, just a wee bit down the road after your time at the Causeway. Or, indeed, stop in there before you brave the Giants!

This place is captivated me the first time I visited it. It’s obvious how carefully they take care of the area for these variety of birds. It’s so peaceful! To me, all ages will somehow find themselves admiring the sense of peace, and find themselves just slightly changed and connected by visiting. No restaurant. No dogs either. It’s all about the amazingly happy birds! One gets the feeling as if we are somehow a guest in their private home... just watching them be themselves.

Lough Neagh is huge! There are many ways to catch glimpses of its grandeur and experience it. But this link offers the ‘Discovery Centre’ which may be a great place to start!

Moira is just a few miles away (about 15 minutes by car) and is a cute town with several options for eating out. I’ve left a link here:

This place is said to have good Sunday menu dishes. And it’s on Lough Neagh, so it’s a lovely view too!

Food AND Sightseeing
Crumlin is only about 7 minutes up the road and has lots of food options. I’ve been happy with everything I’ve ever chosen to try out. Takeaways, pubs, bakery, breakfast lunch or dinner. A large Tesco supermarket is there too.
