Tremayne Quay and woods is very close by and a wonderful walk. Pack a picnic to have once you reach the quay, it's very picturesque especially when the tide is in.

Gunwalloe Church Cove Beach
Sightseeing
Kynance Cove and beach cafe are a must and within a 15 minute drive. Park in the National Trust car park at the top of the cove and walk down the cliff bath to the beautiful beach.

Poldhu Beach is one of our favourite local beaches, it's easily accessible with a large car park, public WC's and incredible beach cafe. Surf lessons and equipment hire are also available.

Helford Village is very quaint and worth a visit, there is a wonderful thatched pub right on the river as well as a cafe and small village shop (perfect for an ice cream!). You can catch a small passenger ferry from Helford Village across to Helford Passage where you'll find another great pub on the beach and ice cream kiosk.

Roskillys farm is a must if you're partial to a good ice cream, theirs is pretty famous. Whilst you're visiting you can see lots of farm animals and if you time it right can watch the cows being milks. There are some lovely walks around the farm with large wildlife pond's (All dog friendly too).
