Keller Peak overlooks the valley and have 360’ view, including Lake Arrowhead in the far distance.
It can be reached through Exploration Trail that is approximate 4 miles through the trees. Then you will get to Children’s Forest and from there approximately 2 miles hike on the paved road.

It’s not even a hike. Very easy walking along the walkway. It’s like a mile loop and almost everyone can walk around.

One of my favorite hikes in the area. It starts from Green Valley Lake campground. Walk along the paved road that becomes unpaved fire road. First half of the trail is not interesting but once you get half way and started to see the valley, it is much more beautiful.
Round trip 8 miles and definitely not for everyone and no crowd on the hike.

Very popular hike due to proximity of Big Bear Lake, short 2.6 miles, great view on the top. Depending on the time of the year, it can get crowded. When I went, it’s like Halloween parade. I had to wear mask not just for Covid but also for the foot traffic that is creating dust cloud. But the view in top is breathtaking.
