Kamiak Butte County Park
This is a fun place to drive to take in a full 360 degree view of the Palouse region all without getting out of the car. Most of the spectacular local photography of the area is taken from this spot.

Idaho is known as The Gem State making this shop in downtown Moscow a must see for visitors. It’s part shop, part geological museum filled with an array of rare gems, rocks, and crystals. There is also a rattlesnake to view safely behind glass. Kids love looking through the reasonably priced rocks that can be purchased from bins in the back of the store.

The coffee is delicious and there is rotating selection of desserts and light lunch items. The coffee shop recently expanded into a neighboring building and now includes a small ladies and children’s clothing boutique.
