This is a short (4 miles round trip), steep hike that begins on ends in the Granite Chief Wilderness. The trail is steep and exposed to direct sun so bring lots of water and a hat.

While not a huge lake, this is a great little spot tucked away from the crowds. Walk the 2.5 mile loop trail, or, for a longer hike, continue on towards Marlette Lake.
