Safety
Vallarta is a very safe place but like anywhere in the world you need to always be aware of your surroundings. Do not wear lots of visible expensive jewelry. The most vulnerable time in PV is after midnight coming out of bars and clubs. Do not come out very drunk and it is best to be in a group at that time. The water in our condo and in the tourists areas is safe to drink
