Just 5 to 7 minutes from our Guest Suite are Reynolda Gardens and Reynolda Village. It is free to all and includes a warren of shops, restaurants along with its gardens and trails. It's large enough to give you plenty of elbow room as well! Reynolda Botanical Gardens is a beautiful spot to sit and relax, stroll among the gardens beautiful flowers or take one of the walking trails some a bit challenging. Founded in 1753 by German-speaking Moravians, Bethabara was the first European settlement in the North Carolina piedmont. Today, Historic Bethabara Park preserves the history and heritage of the “Old Town.” A National Historic Landmark and Local Historic District, the Park encompasses 183 acres of preserved wildlife, historic buildings and grounds, walking and birding trails, and protected wetlands.
