It's cheap, the portions are good and fresh cooked to order. It's not the fanciest place, but it's open 24 hours and they serve frozen drinks through the drive thru. The fish taco plate is my favorite.

A grown and sexy bar with an awesome outfoor patio and huge screens for watching sports. They sometimes have live music. Recently updated. Con: Parking is usually full so you may have to park on the street and walk, or better yet, uber.

Getting around
Expect to drive while here. Houston isn't like most big cities. Public transportation does exist but it isnt the best. If you are traveling downtown or through the medical center, the train is exceptional. IAH (Bush) airport is at least 40 minutes away from this location. If you are traveling from IAH, let me know in advance. I may be able to find a shuttle bus that will bring you closer into town or meet you downtown to help offset the cost.
