Old school with a new vide Italian pasta place heavy on the red sauce, olive oil, and wine. Family run with reasonable prices and portion sizes.

This top-chef-winner-run beach café is located in Playa del Rey, which is the closest beach to our place (~20 minute drive). A great place to pick up food and coffee, take a blanket and enjoy your food on the never-crowded beach.
