Historic downtown Monroe/West Monroe
We are only 3 minutes down the road from downtown. The Ouachita River is all that separates the Twin Cities (Monroe/West Monroe) from each other! Here are a couple of things to check out:
During season, you must visit the Monroe River Market. It's right on the river and has great food and tons of vendor booths to browse through.
Antique Alley is in West Monroe and consists of several blocks of various shops and restaurants. There is a free public parking lot if you choose to walk throughout it all or free parking along the streets of the shops as well, if you prefer.
