The estate of Castleward has beautiful trails for walkers, cyclists, horses and dog owners. It has a large house you can visit. It is right on the shore of Strangford Lough providing stunning views. It has a childrens play area, shop, cafe, walled garden and farmyard. It has been used for film/TV locations, the most notable as Winterfell in Game Of Thrones. There are organised tours or you can just DIY your visit. It is a National Trust property and is 15mins drive from the Loft.
